Fatal Fayetteville shooting death of Donte Maurice Vanclief – Obituary

Authorities have identified 36-year-old Donte Maurice Vanclief as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred on May 4 at Barton’s Landing Condominiums in Fayetteville.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 10:30 a.m. at the Cliffdale Road apartment complex. Vanclief had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Cape Fear Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators have stated that there is currently no threat to the public and that all individuals involved are cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
