Fatal Woodlawn shooting death of Elijah Lamback – Obituary

Elijah Lamback, 28, died after being injured in a shooting that occurred early Friday morning in Woodlawn, Baltimore County.

According to police, Lamback was one of four individuals shot during the incident that took place around the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive. He was found inside the Azuz Hookah Lounge and later died at the hospital on Saturday. Officers initially discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene, and later learned that additional victims had arrived at local hospitals with related injuries.

A witness reported that someone began firing into the establishment while patrons were gathered in the parking lot. A local business owner described quickly locking her doors and fleeing the area with her child to ensure their safety.

The hookah lounge is located in a commercial plaza across from a county library and close to Woodlawn High School.
