Fatal Louisville shooting death of Isaiah C. White – Obituary

Isaiah C. White, a 44-year-old man, was fatally shot early Sunday morning in Louisville’s Algonquin neighborhood, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. on May 4 along Dixie Highway near West Hill Street. When officers arrived, they discovered White inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.

Investigators reported that White’s vehicle crashed into a medical building in the 1600 block of Dixie Highway after he had been shot.

The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. As of the latest update, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
