Malik Session dies in fatal Pierce County stabbing

Fatal Pierce County stabbing death of Malik Session – Obituary

Malik Session, 23, was fatally stabbed in a Pierce County apartment on April 30, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office, which confirmed his death was caused by a neck wound and ruled it a homicide.

Authorities say the incident took place near the 1000 block of 76th Street Court East. A 15-year-old boy, identified as the son of Session’s girlfriend, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the case.

Court documents reveal the teen allegedly attacked Session after witnessing a conflict between him and the teen’s mother. The teen reportedly believed Session had harmed her and responded by stabbing him.

Session was transported to Tacoma General Hospital where he later died. During the teen’s arraignment in juvenile court, a plea of not guilty was entered, and the judge ordered he remain in custody at Remann Hall. Prosecutors have also filed to potentially move the case to adult court.
