Margarita Korolkevic dies in fatal King’s Lynn pedestrian crash

Fatal King’s Lynn pedestrian crash death of Margarita Korolkevic – Obituary.

Margarita Korolkevic, aged 49, was killed after being struck by a white Renault Trucks Master van while walking along an on-slip road to the A47 at Saddlebow in King’s Lynn around 10 p.m. on November 17, 2023.

In the aftermath of the incident, Norfolk Police were initially unable to identify her and released photos of her trainers and zip-up top in hopes someone would recognize them. Within days, thanks to public assistance, authorities confirmed her identity as Korolkevic.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, responded to the scene, and the road was closed until about 2:20 a.m. Following the tragedy, a national assistance funeral was arranged for Korolkevic, with the cost covered by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk due to the absence of anyone able to make her funeral arrangements.

An inquest review was held at Norfolk Coroners Court, where a full hearing date was scheduled for October 17.
