Fatal North Charleston shooting death of Orealius Nelson Jr. – Obituary

Orealius Nelson Jr., 21, lost his life in a shooting that occurred Sunday outside a condominium complex on Rolling Fork Road in North Charleston, South Carolina.

According to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office, Nelson died from a gunshot wound. North Charleston Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of someone banging on windows and doors pleading for help.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Nelson lying face-down at the entrance of several condo units. They attempted life-saving efforts, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
