Timothy Marques, a 41-year-old man, lost his life Sunday night in a motorcycle accident that happened in Sherman Oaks. The collision took place around 8:55 p.m. at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Greenbush Avenue, according to information from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Authorities reported that Marques had been riding his motorcycle east in the far-left lane of Ventura Boulevard when he collided with a car making a left turn onto westbound Greenfield Avenue. The force of the crash was severe, and Marques was declared dead at the location.

On Monday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner officially identified the deceased as Timothy Marques.
