Fatal Chanceford Township car crash death of Destiny Weitkamp – Obituary

Destiny Weitkamp, a 23-year-old resident of Chanceford Township, lost her life following a vehicle collision that occurred on the night of Saturday, May 3, in York County, Pennsylvania.

According to the York County Coroner’s Office, the incident happened in the 2500 block of Delta Road around 9:30 p.m., when a southbound vehicle veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with another car.

Weitkamp was taken to WellSpan York Hospital, where the coroner was called at 9:21 p.m. the next day to confirm her death. The exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear at this time.

Pennsylvania State Police have taken over the investigation to determine the cause of the deadly accident.
