Fatal Burke County, North Dakota motorcycle crash death of Greyson Benstead – Obituary

Greyson Benstead, a 29-year-old man from Bowbells, lost his life on Sunday, May 4, in a motorcycle crash along North Dakota Highway 8, situated north of Stanley in Burke County. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Benstead was riding northbound at approximately 8:10 p.m. when he failed to navigate a curve in the road. His motorcycle left the roadway and became airborne as it passed over a field approach.

Benstead, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Burke County is located in the northwestern region of the state near the Canadian border.
