Fatal Chickasha pedestrian-semi truck collision death of Kevin Hayes – Obituary

Kevin Hayes, 36, of Fletcher, Oklahoma, was killed after being struck by a semi truck in Chickasha on March 12, 2025, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed. The incident took place around 2:07 p.m. near the junction of the I-44 off-ramp and South 4th Street at mile marker 80.

Hayes was hit by a Peterbilt tractor-trailer while on foot. The driver of the semi, identified as 46-year-old Jeremy L. Stafford, was unharmed in the crash.

Authorities have not yet released details about what led to the collision, which remains under active investigation.
