Lambert M. Meyer dies in fatal Town of Dunn car crash

Fatal Town of Dunn car crash death of Lambert M. Meyer – Obituary

Lambert M. Meyer, a 69-year-old Milwaukee resident, was tragically killed in a two-vehicle accident on May 4 in the Town of Dunn, according to the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office. The crash happened near the intersection of Highway 51 and County Road B and was reported at around 8:20 p.m.

Emergency personnel arrived to find Meyer dead at the scene. A forensic examination conducted the following day confirmed that his death was caused by injuries sustained during the crash. Further tests are still pending as local authorities continue their investigation.

According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred when a northbound SUV crossed the centerline of Highway 51 and struck a southbound pickup truck head-on. The driver of the pickup, a 47-year-old, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The circumstances leading to the SUV crossing into oncoming traffic remain under investigation.
