A tragic single-vehicle crash in Great Lakes on Sunday night resulted in the death of 28-year-old Makaio Bartley, who was serving at Naval Station Great Lakes.

Authorities reported that the collision occurred around 10:40 p.m. on Ziegemeir Street. Emergency responders arrived to find Bartley unresponsive in a 2018 Honda Civic, and he was declared dead at the scene.
