District resident Gustavo Martins Vieira, 48, succumbed to injuries after his vehicle struck a building in Columbia, Maryland, on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 7. Police say the collision occurred just after noon in the 9300 block of Gerwig Lane, outside the headquarters of Humanim, Inc.
