Fatal jail incident death of Jeffrey Endres – Obituary
Jeffrey Endres, 49, was found dead in his jail cell after being charged with deliberately driving into a family on April 28, which resulted in the deaths of 41-year-old chiropractor Dr. Kami Hansen and the family dog.
The incident occurred when Endres allegedly rammed his Chevrolet Traverse into the Hansen family while they were walking their dog.
Her husband, Paul Hansen, and their 13-year-old son were also injured, with the son requiring surgery for a concussion. Authorities believe the crash was fueled by a “sensitive crime” involving a family member of Endres and the Hansens.
Endres, who had received public records related to this investigation just hours before the crash, was found unresponsive in his cell days after being charged with first-degree intentional homicide and other felonies.
