Fatal Dunlap motorcycle crash death of Ryan Todd – Obituary

Ryan Todd, a 22-year-old resident of Dunlap, Illinois, lost his life in a multi-vehicle accident Wednesday morning, according to Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood.

The crash took place around 11:00 a.m. near the intersection of Knoxville Avenue and Cedar Hills Road. Authorities reported that Todd was riding a motorcycle when he collided with the rear of another vehicle. The impact threw him from his bike, after which he was struck by a separate vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene, and Todd was pronounced dead just before noon. Harwood confirmed that Todd died instantly from multiple traumatic injuries. He was wearing full protective gear, including a helmet, at the time of the crash.

Toxicology results are pending as the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
