Fatal Dorchester shooting death of Shakar Caterson – Obituary
Authorities have confirmed that 35-year-old Shakar Caterson of Dorchester was the victim of a deadly shooting that took place on May 3 in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
Around 11 p.m., Boston police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Georgia Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Caterson suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical personnel transported him to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
