Fatal Barnwell County shooting death of Adam Clark – Obituary

Adam Clark, a 22-year-old Barnwell resident, lost his life following a deadly shooting during a home invasion on Bomba Street in Barnwell County, South Carolina, on the night of May 6.

Barnwell police responded to the scene around 10 p.m. and found two individuals injured by gunfire. Clark, who was not a resident of the home, sustained two gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to Barnwell County Coroner Denise Gibson. Another individual was taken to Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

An autopsy for Clark was scheduled to be performed in Newberry on May 9.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is currently assisting Barnwell authorities in the ongoing investigation. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
