Fatal Kershaw County ATV rollover death of Daniel Singletary – Obituary

Daniel Singletary, 18, tragically lost his life in an ATV rollover accident on Thursday afternoon in Kershaw County.

The incident took place at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Primrose Lane, located outside Elgin. Master Trooper William Bennett reported that Singletary was operating a 2020 Polaris side-by-side all-terrain vehicle when it veered off the road and overturned near Blaney Road.

Singletary, who was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Kershaw County Coroner David West. Despite efforts to save him, Singletary died at the scene of the accident.
