Destiny Wright dies in fatal Milwaukee shooting

Fatal Milwaukee shooting death of Destiny Wright – Obituary

Destiny Wright, a 31-year-old Milwaukee resident, was killed in a shooting that occurred late Tuesday night near the intersection of 73rd and Mill. The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. on May 7, 2025.

 

Authorities confirmed that Wright died at the scene from gunshot wounds. The Milwaukee Police Department is still working to determine what led up to the shooting and has not yet named any suspects in the case.

 

Investigators are asking anyone who might have information related to the incident to reach out to MPD at (414) 935-7360. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via Crime Stoppers by calling (414) 224-TIPS or using the P3 Tips app.
