Fatal Hermon car crash death of Jeffrey Reutter – Obituary

A tragic crash on Monday in Hermon led to the death of 76-year-old Jeffrey Reutter from Stetson, as reported by the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Route 2 near New Boston Road when Reutter’s 2016 Ford F-250 pickup truck crossed the centerline and collided with a Versant Power truck driven by 43-year-old Adam Powers. Powers sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Reutter was transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
