Fatal Sarasota shooting death of Reginald Graves – Obituary
Reginald Graves, a 45-year-old man, died following a shooting on Colson Avenue in Sarasota, Florida, on May 1. He was found with a gunshot wound to his chest and later passed away at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Authorities with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 33-year-old Trae Ward in connection with the incident. Ward has been charged with homicide and taken into custody more than a week after the shooting occurred.
Deputies responded to the 2500 block of Colson Avenue where Graves was discovered injured. Emergency services transported him to the hospital, but he did not survive.
