Fatal St. Tammany Parish pedestrian crash death of Errol Douglas Cain – Obituary
Errol Douglas Cain, a 61-year-old resident of Tallahassee, Florida, was struck and killed in a tragic incident on the Twin Span Bridge in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. The collision occurred around 9:45 p.m. on April 30 along the eastbound side of Interstate 10, between Irish Bayou and Ole Spanish Trail.
Authorities reported that a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling in the left lane when, for reasons not yet confirmed, Cain entered the roadway and was hit by the vehicle. Emergency services responded quickly, but Cain was pronounced dead at the scene.
The St. Tammany Coroner’s Office confirmed that Cain died from blunt force injuries and ruled his death as accidental. Louisiana State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
