Fatal Largo car crash death of Gail Price – Obituary

Gail Price, 78, has been confirmed as the third person to die following a two-vehicle collision in Largo, Florida, that also claimed the lives of two children and injured a University of Miami football player. The incident took place on Saturday night at the intersection of Orangeview Drive and Ridge Road.

 

Largo Police reported that Price was behind the wheel of a Kia Soul when it collided with a Dodge Durango driven by 20-year-old Adarius Hayes, a linebacker for the Miami Hurricanes. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to a 10-year-old and a 4-year-old, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Price was also fatally injured and later died from her injuries. Another passenger in the Kia, 58-year-old Herbert Rivera, suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. Hayes sustained injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

 

Authorities stated that there were no immediate signs of impairment from either driver. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and no criminal charges have been filed at this time.
