Authorities in Howard County have confirmed that Bonnie Fuller Griffith, a 69-year-old resident of Columbia, died following a multi-vehicle accident on Friday in Jessup. The tragic collision occurred on Guilford Road when a stolen Hyundai Sonata attempted to pass a Tesla Model Y making a left turn onto Twelve Sons Court. The Sonata struck the Tesla and a Honda Fit before crashing head-on into a Honda Civic driven by Griffith.

Emergency responders transported Griffith to Howard County General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. According to police, four juveniles abandoned the stolen Hyundai and fled the scene on foot. One of them sustained injuries and was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment. Authorities continue their investigation as they search for the remaining individuals involved.
