Cesar Navarro dies in fatal Downtown Los Angeles pedestrian accident

Fatal Downtown Los Angeles pedestrian death of Cesar Navarro – Obituary

Cesar Navarro, 36, lost his life early Saturday morning after being struck by a construction van while walking along an off-ramp from the Santa Monica (10) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.

The California Highway Patrol reported that officers were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. to the westbound side of the freeway at San Pedro Street. There, they found that Navarro had been hit near the bottom of the exit ramp.

Emergency personnel pronounced Navarro dead at the scene. The circumstances leading to his presence on the ramp remain under investigation.
