Fatal North Linden shooting death of Matthew Selman – Obituary

Matthew Selman, 43, was fatally shot late Saturday night, May 10, 2025, in the North Linden area of Columbus, Ohio. Officers were dispatched to Briarwood Avenue just before 10:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found Selman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel attempted to provide aid, but Selman was pronounced dead within minutes of their arrival.
