Seventeen-year-old Sir Dixon was killed Saturday afternoon during a violent altercation that broke out at Jerry Watson Park in Ferris, located in Ellis County, Texas. According to officials, the situation began as a physical confrontation involving teenagers and young adults before it escalated into gunfire.

 

Witnesses on Donna Drive reported hearing gunshots followed by chaos and screams as people fled the park. Surveillance footage captured the immediate aftermath.

 

Investigators revealed that Dixon was handed a firearm by an unidentified woman during the fight. He was then shot in the neck by a juvenile who is now in custody and facing a murder charge. After Dixon was shot, another man at the scene picked up his weapon and shot a different teen, who survived. That adult suspect has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

 

Authorities are actively searching for the female who gave Dixon the gun, as well as Julianna Pargas, who is wanted for evidence tampering.
