Timothy Pennington dies in fatal Greenfield motorcycle crash

Fatal Greenfield motorcycle crash death of Timothy Pennington – Obituary

Timothy Pennington, 60, from Greenfield, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday near Jacksonville.

The crash occurred on IL-267 south of Lake Jacksonville Road when Pennington’s motorcycle collided with the rear of a pickup truck while both vehicles were heading southbound. Despite efforts to revive him, Pennington was declared dead at the scene.

The accident led to a closure of the highway for about five hours as authorities worked on reconstructing the incident and clearing the area. An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine the cause of death.
