Fatal I-70 crash death of Abdul-Salami Touray – Obituary
Abdul-Salami Touray, 4, tragically lost his life in a crash on I-70 near Washington, Pennsylvania, on Sunday afternoon. The vehicle he was in, traveling westbound, veered across the median and collided with a tractor-trailer in the eastbound lanes.
Touray, who was not secured in a child seat, was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at UPMC Washington Hospital at 2:03 p.m. The front seat passenger, 25-year-old Aisha Trawally of Columbus, OH, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, also not wearing a seatbelt, was flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
