Fatal Little Rock shooting death of Lee Battles – Obituary

Authorities in Little Rock have confirmed that 39-year-old Lee Battles of Benton was fatally shot on Sunday night in a violent incident on Auxor Road.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 9000 block, where they discovered Battles lying in a lot across the street, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Following the incident, the Pulaski County Coroner transferred his body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy. His family has been notified.

Investigators canvassed the area for potential witnesses and surveillance footage, and the case remains under active investigation.
