Fatal Harvey shooting death of Christian Burgau – Obituary

Christian Burgau, 20, lost his life in a deadly shooting that took place in Harvey, Louisiana, on April 23. His body was discovered in bushes outside a residence on St. Michael Drive.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office identified 19-year-old Justin Smith Jr. as a second suspect in the homicide case. He is currently wanted on charges of first-degree murder and obstruction of justice. Another suspect, Desmin Chaisson, also 19, was taken into custody last week facing the same accusations.

Authorities have not released any information regarding the motive behind the killing. Investigators continue to search for Smith Jr., who remains at large.
