Fatal Sacramento crash death of Ernesto Torres – Obituary

Ernesto Torres, a 58-year-old man from Sacramento, lost his life after being struck in a pedestrian accident late Saturday morning near the Del Paso Heights area.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and North Avenue. Authorities say Torres was hit during the crash, and he was later confirmed dead by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

The individual involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with Sacramento Police officers. Investigators have ruled out alcohol and drugs as contributing factors and are still working to determine the exact cause of the incident.

As part of the investigation, police temporarily closed Rio Linda Boulevard between North Avenue and Phillipi Way following the fatal crash.
