A tragic domestic dispute in San Ysidro ended with the death of 61-year-old Irene Williams, who was thrown from a third-floor walkway by her boyfriend on Monday evening, according to San Diego Police.

Witnesses at the senior living complex located at 517 W San Ysidro Boulevard reported seeing a man hurl a woman from a third-floor balcony. Police arrived shortly after the call and arrested 57-year-old Albert Turner at the scene.

Emergency personnel found Williams in the courtyard suffering from critical injuries, including severe trauma to her head and a fractured leg. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Turner has been charged with first-degree murder and was booked into county jail without the option for bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Thursday.
