Fatal Killen, Alabama car crash death of Jacky T. Thigpen – Obituary

A deadly crash on U.S. Highway 43 near Killen claimed the life of 33-year-old Jacky T. Thigpen on Monday afternoon. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Thigpen was driving when his vehicle veered off the road, hit a ditch, and then collided with a tree.

 

The incident occurred around 1:55 p.m., approximately four miles north of Killen, near mile marker 331. Thigpen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

 

Investigators from ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are working to determine the exact cause of the crash. At this time, no additional information has been made available.
