Fatal Wadsworth car crash death of Jaden Flinders – Obituary
A tragic collision on High Street in Wadsworth claimed the life of 23-year-old Jaden Flinders of Wooster on the morning of May 13.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 1997 Dodge Neon, driven by Flinders, collided with the back of a southbound 2004 Ford Mustang at high speed. The impact forced the Mustang off the road and into a utility pole.
Flinders’ vehicle then crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a 2022 Ford F-250 pickup truck traveling northbound. He was transported to Summa Health Wadsworth-Rittman Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The 18-year-old Mustang driver, a Wadsworth resident, was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General for treatment. The 37-year-old driver of the pickup from Dundee sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
The incident remains under investigation, with assistance at the scene provided by Wadsworth Police.
