Aisha Trawally dies in fatal Pennsylvania crash

Fatal Pennsylvania crash death of Aisha Trawally – Obituary

Aisha Trawally, a 25-year-old woman from Columbus, and her young son, 4-year-old Abdul-Salami Touray, lost their lives in a tragic accident in Pennsylvania on Mother’s Day.

According to the Washington County Coroner, Trawally was a passenger in a vehicle traveling along Interstate 70 near Claysville, about 45 minutes from the Ohio border. Abdul-Salami was seated in the back of the car.

 

The Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that the two were mother and son. The vehicle reportedly veered across the median and collided head-on with a semi-truck. Trawally was declared dead at the scene, while her son was airlifted to UPMC Washington Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car was also flown to a hospital near Pittsburgh with injuries.

 

The coroner’s report noted that Aisha Trawally was not wearing a seatbelt, and Abdul-Salami Touray was not secured in a child safety seat at the time of the crash. The Pennsylvania State Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
