Fatal Clarksville woods death of David Carriere – Obituary

Clarksville police have confirmed the identity of a man discovered deceased earlier this month in a wooded area near the Greenwood Avenue neighborhood. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old David Carriere, a resident of Clarksville.

Authorities were called to the area of Daniel Street and Laurent Lane around 11:13 a.m. on May 4, 2025, following a report of a body found in the woods. Upon arrival, officers located Carriere’s body in the area.

According to a statement from police spokesperson Scott Beaubien, there is currently no suspicion of foul play involved in Carriere’s death, though the case is still under active investigation.

Detectives are requesting help from the community and are seeking anyone who may have seen something or possesses video footage related to the case.
