Thirteen-year-old Emiliano Munoz from Everett, Washington, died following a tragic accident while riding his e-bike through a neighborhood on May 2. According to local reports, Emiliano had been playing with friends in a nearby field and was heading home when he chose a shortcut through a yard.

Unaware of a braided metal cable stretched between two posts in the grass, Emiliano struck the cable, severely injuring his throat and cutting his vocal cords. A family spokesperson shared that the young boy managed to run back to his friends, struggling to breathe, and collapsed while they called for help.

Emergency responders transported him to the hospital, where he was placed on life support. Despite efforts to save him, Emiliano passed away a few days later. The incident is being described as a freak accident, and his death has left his community and loved ones devastated.
