Fatal Las Vegas motorcycle crash death of Jailine Alvarez – Obituary
Jailine Alvarez, 25, of Las Vegas, was killed in a motorcycle collision Friday in the northwest area of the city, authorities confirmed.
The crash occurred at the intersection of West Lake Mead Boulevard and James Bilbray Drive. According to a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Alvarez had been riding a 2022 Suzuki GSX-R600 at a high speed on Lake Mead Boulevard when a 2024 Toyota Tacoma turned left from Bilbray Drive into her path.
Her motorcycle struck the side of the Toyota, and the impact caused fatal blunt force injuries. Alvarez was declared deceased at the crash site by emergency responders.
The Toyota’s driver, a 35-year-old man from Las Vegas, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
As of Sunday, this incident marked the 17th fatal motorcycle or moped crash within Metro’s jurisdiction for 2025, an increase from 15 reported during the same timeframe last year.
