Fatal Roxbury shooting death of Justin Bettencourt – Obituary

Boston police have identified 21-year-old Justin Bettencourt of Dorchester as the victim of a deadly shooting that took place Tuesday afternoon in Roxbury. Officers responded to a report of gunfire around 2:55 p.m. near 107 Munroe Street.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Bettencourt suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating the case and is urging anyone with information to contact them at 617-343-4470.
