The Calhoun County Coroner’s Office has identified the person killed in a morning vehicle accident on Interstate 26 as 26-year-old Mariah Smith-Ramos of Darlington, South Carolina.

The deadly incident took place at approximately 3 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of I-26, near mile-marker 123. According to Coroner Donnie Porth, Smith-Ramos was the only person who lost their life in the crash, and no additional injuries were reported.
