Jeffrey Runaas, a 70-year-old man from Orfordville, has been identified as the person who died following a motorcycle accident in Rock County, Wisconsin, last week.

According to the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, Runaas succumbed to injuries he sustained in the crash. The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, near the intersection of South River Road and the West Highway 11 Bypass in the Town of Rock.

Authorities believe that Runaas lost control of his motorcycle, which then flipped and landed in a ditch. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away.

Preliminary findings confirmed the crash caused his fatal injuries, though further medical tests are pending. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
