Johnny Brian Guin, Jr., a 19-year-old from Autryville, lost his life in a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday evening in Sampson County. Deputies responded to Butler Island Road near Roseboro around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire involving multiple individuals.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds resulting from an altercation. Guin was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the second victim was hospitalized. No further updates have been released regarding the injured individual.
