Literrance Leon Bratton dies in fatal Birmingham shooting

Fatal Birmingham shooting death of Literrance Leon Bratton – Obituary

Literrance Leon Bratton, 31, of Birmingham, has been confirmed as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred late Sunday night in the Ensley neighborhood. Authorities say the incident took place on the 2700 block of 30th Street Ensley just before midnight.

Bratton was transported to UAB Hospital for emergency care but was pronounced dead shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Birmingham police are currently treating the case as a homicide and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
