Olga Melnikova, a 39-year-old woman from Pacific Grove, was identified as the victim in a deadly crash that occurred between Salinas and Castroville on Monday afternoon. The incident happened around 12:27 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 183 and McFadden Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a sedan and a semi-truck. Melnikova, who was driving the sedan, tragically lost her life in the collision.
