Dominick Stevens dies in fatal Lauderdale County drowning

Fatal Lauderdale County drowning death of Dominick Stevens – Obituary

Dominick Stevens, a 19-year-old from Lauderdale County, has been confirmed as the victim of a drowning incident that took place Saturday at Dalewood.

According to Coroner Stella McMahan, Stevens’ body is being transported to Biloxi for an autopsy. After an extended search by emergency crews, his body was located and recovered late Monday night around 10 p.m.

Several agencies participated in the search efforts, and LEMA Director Odie Barrett extended his gratitude to all those who assisted.

Dalewood, which was closed to the public during the search operation, has since resumed normal access for its members.
