Keilani Renae Harris, 19, was one of three individuals who lost their lives in a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Harris was killed by a gunshot wound that entered through her back and neck. The deaths of Harris, Briaun Keith Dinish-Lomelli, 27, and August Alfred Lastrappe, 24, were all ruled homicides.
The victims were discovered unconscious shortly after 1 a.m. near a nightclub located at 164 S. Washington Street. A fourth individual was found critically wounded and taken to the hospital.
Lastrappe, also known by the nickname “Q,” was an employee at Noir Luxe Candle Co. in Belltown. The shop paid tribute to him on social media, describing him as a cherished coworker, teacher, and father whose gentle presence and knowledge deeply impacted those around him.
Harris’ aunt described her in a GoFundMe tribute as a devoted older sister and supportive daughter who had just begun carving a path into adulthood. Her love of music, vibrant spirit, and the way she cared for others will be dearly missed by friends and family alike.
As of now, police have not confirmed whether the gunman or gunmen had any connection to the nightclub or if the victims were specifically targeted. Investigators are encouraging anyone with helpful footage or information to contact the Seattle Police Department’s tip line at 206-233-5000.
