Michael Brandon Harrison dies in fatal Big Sur motorcycle crash

Fatal Big Sur motorcycle crash death of Michael Brandon Harrison – Obituary

Michael Brandon Harrison, a 39-year-old man from Merced, lost his life in a motorcycle accident along Highway 1 near Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park on Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials said the crash occurred at approximately 4:58 p.m. as Harrison was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on the highway. At some point, he drifted onto the west shoulder and collided with a tree. The force of the impact caused him to be thrown from the motorcycle.

Harrison sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP reported.

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office later confirmed his identity. No other vehicles were involved, and the incident remains under investigation.
