Fatal Canton pedestrian crash death of Terry L. Barker – Obituary

Terry L. Barker, a 36-year-old man from Alliance, was killed Tuesday night after being hit by a vehicle while trying to cross U.S. Route 62 in Canton, Ohio.

The Canton Police Department reported that the collision occurred around 9:20 p.m. near Kirby Avenue NE. A 2008 Lexus R35 heading westbound in the right lane struck Barker as he was crossing the road.

Barker was declared dead at the scene. Authorities said the driver of the Lexus was unharmed and showed no signs of impairment from drugs or alcohol.
