Tyrone Devon Henderson Bartley, 32, was fatally shot by an Orange County deputy during the execution of a search warrant last Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at a residence in the 5600 block of Lejeune Drive, where deputies and SWAT officers were carrying out the warrant. According to the sheriff, Henderson reached behind a door, prompting a deputy to discharge their weapon. He was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
Authorities have informed Henderson’s family, and an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
